Our Community

Providence's community is what makes us truly special.

Our residents benefit from the connection and inclusion that surrounds us.

For anyone seeking help for a loved one struggling with a substance use disorder, the presence of PF offers comfort, hope, and a connection to a community that understands the challenges of recovery. A call to Providence connects community members with a network of resources, including therapists, sober coaches, case managers, AA and Families Anonymous meetings, and other local recovery services.

Our community of sober young men is committed to supporting other young people on their recovery journeys, just as we have been supported by the broader local recovery community. We believe recovery is strengthened through connection, advocacy, and a community willing to stand beside individuals and families in their most difficult moments.

Key to the Village

PF was honored to receive the Village of Northbrook’s “Key to the Village” in recognition of the advocacy, service, and awareness we have brought to the community. This recognition reflects how far our community has come over the past decade.

Ten years ago, PF fought for the right of our clients to recover here in their own community. Today, we are proud to be part of a community that not only welcomes recovery, but actively supports it. What began as a fight for the right to recover has grown into a lasting network of hope, service, and connection for young people and families affected by substance use disorder.
